Incredible. Never thought that is possible.
Barrels of guns are rifled so bullets spin like crazy (45 to 76 times a second) and a bullet would not cleanly split into two. Furthermore, this stunt would not be allowed in front of any audience because there's a strong risk of tiny fragments of bullet showering in any and all direction.
By poosuesassy 1139098716 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove45-76 times per second, the bullet was in contact with the blade for what, maybe .001 seconds.. that gives you at most a .076 rotation.. come on turbo it is totally possible to do this..
By Sycosys 1141296427 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removelead is soft. it will easily split apart when striking a harder surface. ( they obviously were not using metal jacketed rounds) duh! good shot.

By Stoney4499 1149502432 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveYes, bullets do spin because of rifling in barrel. On the average it might be one revolution in 12" of travel. So yes, it is possible to split.

By banche 1138011837 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSamurai swords are two kinds of metals that are binded together during the smithing process. The softer material being the sharpened edge and the harder material being the blunt edge. If bullets can't be split then why are there bullet-proof vests? Laws of physics 'nuff said...
By ApolRon 1137876731 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveUm, actually... "samurai" swords are made from a single steel, folding numerous times to remove impurities. Then clay is lined along the spine (blunt edge) and the blade hardened and tempered. The result being a harder sharp edge and softer spine... for durability and edge retention. A bullet being cut in 2 is a pretty obvious result, considering the hardness of the sword edge, and the lead bullet being one of the softest metals around.
By PsychoSam 1138095499 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removenow... U NEXT. the clay is used on the spine, its used to create a hard cutting egde, also creating a termper line called the 'hamon'. ALSO, TWO METALS U DIP S**t soft core, hard shell. The clay is used to slow the cooling of the metal as its dipped in water during the forging proccess. When the metal cools fast it remains softer, the exposed metal cools fast and the structure of the metal crystalises, making it harder. Perhaps u should study NIHONTO before talking like an expert. U PPL ARE SO FUCKIN IGNORANT, YET U TALK LIKE FUCKIN EXPERTS. PPL LIKE U R WHY THE WORLD IS FUCKED. LEEEEEEARN B4 U SPEAK F****tS

You obviously have a certain amount of knowledge, and that should be passed onto others. Not by cussing, but by educating them. If they are intelligent, they will realise that they are in error, and as a result will be in awe of your fine mind, not of your foul tongue.
yes they use two metals, the soft metal is the edge??? WAKE UP! how can a soft edge cut u moron. good lord your a fuckin moron! wake up to yourself. There is a soft core covered by a harder exterior. They are not called SAMURAI SWORDS U DICK, they're called 'Katana' well the sword being used was anyway, a short knife length= tanto, medium length, = wakazashi, long =katana. go learn something before talking like u know S**t u fuckin dick
By paradoks 1145891455 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveRestatement. Align the front site vertically in the center of the blade and slowly squeeze of the round.
By mtpockets 1137855876 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is more simple than it seems. You only use the front site. You discard the rear site. Align the front site vertically in the center of the front site and slowly squeeze the trigger. You hit the target vertically with no consideration to the horizontal. When I was a kid, I did it with a b-b gun and a string with something tied to the bottom of the string for weight.
