Under the compelling subtitle of “The Radical New Approach to Nutrition That Can Burn Fat, Improve Your Health and Might Just Save Your Life” Brad Pilon’s book educates the reader in a dieting system that, as the title suggests, is based upon using periods of intermittent fasting and eating.

The book is 144 pages long in its expanded edition and devotes the first part of the book, a huge 85 pages in total, to explaining the theory and science behind the “Eat Stop East Diet” that Brad Pilon has put together.
Brad Pilon demonstrates an attention to detail and solid research that supports the diet plan and perhaps it is for this reason that he devotes over half of the book to explaining these points. Brad Pilon has studied nutrition and the book itself is based upon his research paper that was part of his graduate degree.
The Eat Stop Eat Diet Plan
The diet plan itself is presented in the second half of the book and is simple to follow and focuses on using intermittent fasting as a method to lose weight rather than by the more conventional dieting methods or exercise.
Some readers may feel certain aspects of the book seem quite difficult to achieve, such as fasting once or twice a week for 24 hours. Yet this is spread across sleeping periods too so following the plan means there is never a day without eating.
The diet plan is effective and clearly backed by science and appears to be good news for people who do not want to have to adhere to strict food choices or have to worry with calorie counting.
