Unfortunately, gapelfJR, the liberation of a country is a secondary objective. We invaded Iraq because it's an economic hub (the oil ....) there are thousands of oppressive regimes in the world and leaders that are horrible to their people. Why didn't we help Rwanda when they killed almost 1 million Tutsis? Fact is there's no economic /political gain for the US and that's why we didn't help.
Furthermore, the plan to invade Iraq was not well thought out; there is no exit plan. It's similar to the Vietnam War in the sense that we are fighting civilians not an army in the traditional sense. Therefore how do you "win"? How do you know when you've elminated the enemy threat? You can't, and that's why it will be difficult to leave Iraq even after we've ousted its leader. By remaining there, we perpetuate the violence and fan the flames of Islamic hatres for Americans. By pulling out, we leave Iraq in a similar, if not worse state than before. The answer is, there is no answer and that's the problem Bush has gotten himself into.
1) I did notvote for bush and therefore have no compunction about bashing him.

3) I have no problem with us kicking some Iraqi ass. Saddam Neede to be put down. Too bad good American Soldiers have to die for that, but that, frankly, is part of their job. We have an entirely volunteer military and they signed up for the possibilities of war and death.
I absolutely agree that the blame does not sit with Mr. Bush, it belongs to every rat bastard that voted him in. But then with the other choices that were available, I guess there wasnt much of a choice.
OK. 9/11 just happened. All the intelligence (from many countries) points to Iraq having weapons of mass destruction that could fall into the hands of terrorists. And Saddam does not comply with UN mandated weapon inspections. You are the President of the attacked country. What would you do?

Well, we supplied the Saddam with weapons to fight Iran and told the Europeans not to supply Iran with any weapons. Secretly we supplied weapons to Iran, put the earned money in a swiss bank acount and told the "freedom fighters" in Nic. to use that money for weapons. We had to take this measure to supply money because original funds were cut after a fraud of using first aid funds to buy weapons.

The clear connection is that we, in loose terms, screwed over the Iraq government, if anything that would be plenty motive for retaliation on our government. However were the attacks on the twin towers brought upon by the Iraq gov.? No. It was an idealistic minority residing in the country. To put this in perspective, that would be like another country "retaliating" in our country because of the KKK's illegal activities.
Finally, what is my hypothesis? I beleive that the attacks were staged by our own government for a means to their end. Read up on it, I am not alone in this hypothesis and it is a growing beleif among other country's. To give you an introduction, where was the reckage of the pentagon crash? Similarly, witnesses reported, on live televsion, that it sounded like, "A bomb." More so, the only footage was confiscated by the FBI minutes after the incident and held, most likely an act of executive privelege. Think about the motives of war and the gains in going to war. Think of the ironic dealings our country has had with the Bin Laden family and how we flew his entire extended family out of the US when the 9/11 attacks happend, and apparently we'rent even questioned by the CIA.

I'm not going to jump on the "lets slag off America" bandwagon. We all know the wars were unjust and nothing to do with 9/11; so if the americans want to be blind to the truth, let them, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Of course people in the younger generation associate LP with Linkin Park and not "long playing vinyl record." How long has it been since the LP was even common? 20 years? Get a grip. They still make LPs of even modern bands and scratching on DJ turntables is something kids know about. More accurately, what sickens me is that internet and txt abbreviations have replaced actual well known acronyms to the point where people don't even recognise the old acronym. Even though the technology is old, its just general knowledge that people should have.
