    I think the desktop is going a bit too far!

    really though. you want your computer to run faster.

    delete all those 3MB photos you dont ever look at.
    delete videos you have downloaded you hardly watch
    delete any programs, and check out prgram files and delete any samples that the program has

    alternatively, put things on to CD or DVD. then delete them.

    easy!
