This is not great universally, you'll need to make sure that the charger has the right power etc and there is always a chance something can go wrong, so.. HES NOT LIABLE heh.

As for on the go, in a car. well don't you have a car charger for that?

My phone charges thru the usb port lol

My dad tested them and the home charger puts out 7V, and as you know USB only 5V. Dunno if it's cause I'm in Australia that my phones are different (wall sockets are 240V here, but that won't change anything) and hence need different charging voltages.

I did something even better I connected the wire to my electric car motor, When i m at work I charge my laptop then connect the laptop usb to the motor and drive home for free.
Know Kipkay did you think of something like that before.

you can just buy USB charger with multiple ad-ons, and can be used for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Samsung, Motorola, etc. and it will cost you only 5 euros.

Most Nokia Chargers, state that the output is 5.3Volts and 500mA so, What does the usb Amps output is?

If it's different couldn't that damage your phone?

Also is worth to mention that the conector (the one that goes into the phone) has two conductors, Inside wich must be + and the outside should be ground (gnd)

works on only older phones. they dosen't need more then 3,7V to charge, I have a nokia 5500, it will not charge....it need 5,7V to charge..

please explane me how do i get paid. i have read all the instructions at metacafe but i dont understand all of them, coz of my english knoweledge. can u please explane me the method of paiment in few simple words. 2 of my videos have earned money, but only for one of them i got an email from metacafe with subject ( new contract ) what i shell do with this contract. and how do i choose master card paiment method ?

I have samsung old phone car charger cord can I cut off end.
Cut the UBS cord and use the Motorola phone end, solder in similar fashion to video.

Resulting in "New" car charger

I know the palm centro has a habit of deciding to stop charging (whether it be through hotsync or a wall outlet), and Sprint wants to charge you between 50 and 200 dollars for a new phone.
I've been through 3, and I just tried this out AND IT WORKS.

I used the iGo charger with the A43 tip, and the same USB cord you see pictured in the video.
I have no knowledge of electrical ANYTHING, but I got this to work with scotch tape and scissors.

what if ur battery cant hold the volts you are using with the usb?

what is your cellphone's battery voltage

there is no IC chip!!
that stops current from flowing after the phone is fully charged.
your battery will overheat and leak if left even minutes too long on a charger without this chip.
just saying...

The original nokia travel charger output 5.8 V, but the USB cable just output 5.2 V that nokia mobile phones will reject it as a charger because the nokia software is programeed to take Voltages (3.7V & 5.8&), and not any voltage, thats y it isn't working sorry kipkay...

my charger wires is black and white the usb cable is the same...how should i connect the wires...usb red with the black sharger wire ,black usb to white charger wire???
