  • How

would anyone like to play this guy in a freindly game of nine ball? I wouldn't.

    By lienad 1137558929
    • I would.

9-ball and artistic pool are very different. He might have the technique down, but he might be very little experienced in positional play, safety shots, break, the whole strategy of the game. Even though I think that he is a decent player afterall. I would gladly play him anytime.

      By martpat 1153674627
    • Not fake

Haven't you ever heard of trick shot pool? This is the same thing. I have seen all these shots in person. Good stuff.

  • Trick Shots

it's amazing what you can do with a light White!!!! thats why you don't see these type of shots on T.V. because all the balls weigh the same. when the White is alot lighter than the rest this what you can do ..
    Quite easy really

  • they spin the ball

they spin the ball to make it turn just like that witholyf

    By noo 1138594653
  • amazing

he probably learned how to do all the shots from some kind of book, but only the straightforward no spin ones would be fairly easy to do...the way he can control the spin on the ball on some of those shots is simply amazing, most of the stuff i see on those professional trick shot matches dont even compare to how good this guy is

    By mike006 1138243002

i love playing that game im pretty good but he is just crazy

    • Name of song

Dude the name of the song is Out of Control by Hoobastank

      By syth1000 1138067641
  • too much time on his hands

Not fake for one. Also, all of these tricks can be found in various trickshot books. What is amazing is the time he took to set up each shot, miss, reset, try again, and then edit the video to make it look like he hit them on the first try everytime. but not bad though.

    By emcinkc 1137649832
  • wierd i think

he wouldnt be tht good in a real match as the balls are set up just right for this shot! but he would e good non the less, wouldnt it be better if snooker players would do this

    By r1ccardo 1137625711
    • You are half right.

He MIGHT NOT BE as good in a real game, since trickshots are really set up the same way each time and all it takes is to be able to do the same thing over and over and over. He might be very inexperienced in the game itself. However, I do not know a single trick shot shooter, whose primary concern is not the actual game. The trickshots are the fun extra thing that you get out of it, but not your main focus.

He obviously has very good technique, follow through, the whole mechanism. I think he would be awesome in a game.

      By martpat 1153673870
    • well

he obviously is verry good at getting the cue ball exactly where he wants it following the exact path and with insane spin, so I think he could prettymuch sink every shot in a normal game and put the cue ball right where he wants it in for the next shot.

Last month i got all 7 balls in a row without letting the other guy have a go, i was so pleased with myself... then i realised that game cost me 50p.

  • Real? or maybe not!

The power of computer graphics, isnt it amazing!...

    By ripplease 1137612373
    • Really.

How about you getting off you computer chair for once, going to a pool hall, and seeing for yourself that all these shots are possible?

      By martpat 1153673232
    • Um no.

Why go CG when these are all variations of pretty standard trick shots. Anyone can make a ball curve, jump a ball, etc. Doing it with accuracy and finesse - well that's where the inborn talent + hours of practice come in.

      By Paladin_Z06 1140925018
    • its real

theres thousands of people who can do these things, so it shouldn't be too hard for you to find someone to watch in real life for proof.

      By KX36 1137709649

wat on earth .... those guys ... imean... im flabbergasted .... shocked ...stunned .... either they have spent 3days straight practiing each shot .... or they majored in quantum physics .... unbeliveable .... gasp ..... zounds .... choke ...... aak ....

    By ahsocurious 1137534807
  • wow

the most amazing thing was the curves. wow! how can u do that???

    By xXrayXx 1137532958
    • Well...

You have to have a good, flexible cue stick, rather hard cue tip, and level table. Than you have to practice you follow through (as you actually have to follow through the ball to be able to apply the spin), pace, and power. Say ten hours a week for a year...

      By martpat 1153673514
  • Wow

Those were pretty nice but i seen better. Some were pretty lame though.

  • Amazing...

I wonder how long it took to master these tricks...just amazing...

    By parrothead91463 1137529816
  • this could be fake!

this could be fake. the balls keep pausing whereas the player is smoothly runnig no jumping or pausing

    By JayJ4Y 1141411990
    • It's actually not fake

Most of the shots he did are masse shots, an extreme type of swerve shot, where you'd hit the ball from the near top side of the cueball with either a pure running side, or check side, or combining with a screw shot. By doing that, it takes awhile before the spin overcomes the forward momentum of the cueball, hence the curving of the cueball. At break-even between the 2, that's when it pauses for a split-second, which explains why the pause and afterwards, a sudden change of direction.

      By Tack 1141729052
    • No

It is not a fake. The balls are stopping and then skyrocketing in the other direction because they are spinning. Since the table cloth is smooth, even a ball spinning in one direction, could for a second or two just "slide" over the top of the table, and when the spin finally "catches" the ball, it changes its direction.

Just try it with your hand, throw a ball on a table with a spin and you will see that it takes a bit of time before the spin takes over.

Just try it, and the you will be REALLY appreciative of the skill.

  • How come the resolution S**ks ?

How come the resolution S**ks ?

    By zzroach 1139003035
    • .

Everyone does not have a professional crew available when they are shooting home videos, so they have to use their shi*ty little hand cameras or mobile phones.

How come you do not have something better?

      By martpat 1153674075
  • Unlikley

Thats impossible, if you whatch the video on some shots the ball is going down the table, and then all of a sudden it goes up, it's not a spin it's a change of direction, this means 3 things occured; 1. balls r magnetic and are being controlled by magnetic, 2.table slanted, 3. some nice video editing. neverthless it still takes skill to do all that stuff, so i congratulate this guy.

    By wtholyf 1138260427
    • Sorry...

...but you are mistaken. All these shots are possible on a regular table, without any magnetism, twisted playing surface or video editing. I could do some of them as well. All it takes is practice.

Do you assume, that figure skating is a video fake, since you cannot do any of that? Come on...

      By martpat 1153673099
    • Uhhh Bevis

you must not play much pool. Some people are just amazing at pool. I went up against a 12 year old kid (son of a very good player), and he ran the table on me every time (meaning he never missed anything ever). I had the kid boxed in with what I thought was an impossible defensive shot, and the kid pulled off a curve + 2 rails shot that belonged in that video. Amazing.

Honestly, even if I practiced 12 hours a day for 10 years, I don't think I'd be able to match the natural gift some rare people have for pool. I'll settle for being better than most.

      By Paladin_Z06 1140924890
    • .... no, it actually mean only one thing...

give credit when it's due and stop putting down other people's work! What you can't do doesn't mean cannot be done and having the ball move forward and then spinning back is something very common in pool. All you need is to hit it at the right angle to impart the backspin and the initial push will cause the ball to skid forward before the spin bites and move the ball back.
