  COME ON!!!! Everybody KNOWS what Beta means!!! it means that its an unstable version of the game. Halo 3 Beta is just the testing version. It has a possibility of crashing and stuff...

  the testing stage. only the people who got a special code or had crackdown could play it
  beta is basically like a stage to let people play the game and find bugs they need fixed
