I'm guessing I'm not the only one on METACAFE's bad list. This site used to be rather descent, but now, it is too difficult to have a discussion on a very sensitive but important topic. I hope you recieved my comment. To clarify, I'm not against you or your right of opinion. I just believe we need to work together to find a reasonable solution rather than faulting everybody. It's just harder to accept things when you come home from such a horrible place and people like to disrespect your experience and worthy insight. Overall, let us come together to discuss an end to this violence.

The worst part is they leave responses up for a little while then take them down. Neither you or I seem to post false facts or any racism or profanity, we are on 2 sides of a very important issue but in some ways I think we stand for the same fundamental ideals. It's sad that sites like this seem to be against open discussion and debate.

Well since METACAFE obviously deleted your comment, I'll reply to this one. First off, thank you. Thank you for having some common sense and looking outside the box of Iraq. Glad to see that someone has the same views of what is really going on there. Have you served there before? Because you have the sensibility and viewpoints of someone who has seen it.

Ran into a lot of those people on my tours. I think the Egyptians and Jordanians paid him about $200 per head....$300 per confirmed American or IP KIA. I love how people like you think its OK to react to barbarism with barbarism. The US is supposed to hold itself to a higher standard just as any civilized nation should, especially one that is supposed to stand for freedom and equality. 2 wrongs don't make a right. You're over simplifying the situation. Open your mind and try to realize you aren't fighting a big evil boogeyman, you are fighting other human beings, and while some are religous fanatics most of them are people trying to defend their way of life. Also if someone doesn't care about you it doesn't mean you look the other way while they are being abused. Two wrongs do not make a right.

It's sad that people actually teach their children that everybody in the world is good. It would be much more honest to teach them that everyone has the capacity to do good and evil things, and that ultimately people will choose one path or the other. In terms of right or wrong, i have stepped over the bounds of civility along time ago. When dealing with people who have no respect for humanity and no mercy, it's useless.
