hes got a minature man on the back of his neck that uses the mop on his head for concealment and pushes the chain from the back of his neck to the front. alot of these tricks are easy if you have good rapport with lilliputians. gulliver invented all these tricks.

but look at ur self carefully when he starts to put the chain around his neck, he DOES not round it off around his neck look again and ull see what i mean, he just puts it on his neck and there is some hook behind in his hair that holds it,

this is trick not done by faking putting it around his neck. thats way too hard to fool people with. this trick is done by, as people have said, tying it in a specific way. im just wondering what he'd so if he accidently ties it wrong. hes gunna choke himself one day trying to do this trick too fast.

no body there that said they could see it around his neck really could, his hair was blocking it. he had it hooked on his collar, and it was tied in a knot before it was pulled. While everyone was looking the other way he rubbed his neck to make it red so it looked like the chain passed through it.

He never tied it around his neck. He just stuck it a bit down his shirt or something then it just unraveled in front of him. He had hair that covered his neck up so the people behind him still got the full effect of the trick. Go practice!

The chain is never really around his neck. He puts the first wrap behind his head. Acting like hes tieng a knot when really hes just securing it to make sure it does fall when he lets it go .. then watch how he puts the second wrap around his neck, notice how he lets the first go and then grabs from the new one.... its confusing .. but if you get a chain .. and do exactly what he does. anyone can do it ..

I saw this same trick messed up by a magician who's prop failed. When he passes the chain behind his neck it never really wraps around his neck, instead it is attacked under his hair. When it is pulled it seems to go right through his neck. Look how he hesitates once his hands are behind his neck, its not a long pause, but long enough for a good magician. Right before the pull on the magician who flopped this trick, the chain fell loose from his neck. You have to know all of the tricks are a illusion that fools the mind.

If you look carefully the chain doesn't go around the back of his neck, I think he makes it look like it is looping around the back but it actually isn't. maybe the chain is magnetic or something

he doesnt cross the chain behind his neck, so its not actually ever completely around his neck in the first place. a seven year old could do this

the chain went back his neck, without a knot, came back through the same side and made a knot near his throat, which comes after the pull.

when he move both sides of the chain back of his neck, he didnt tie it, he didnt change the side of the chain, maybe just use some special clip to hold the chian together,,,, you guys get wht i mean????

He never tied it around his neck... They never showed it going around... He just sat the loops on his shoulders... Or atleast thats how it looked like. Its good entertainment though

real or fake noone has any idea on how he does his tricks if you did then you would have your own tv show and be getting paid lots, my sister saw him at the aladdin hotel and he performed and i dont think she would lie about what she saw and guess what she wasn't paid. why watch if you think it is fake?

he didnt actualy put that around his neck. How to explain... The key are hes hairs. Notised that he put in in front. The right end (at he begining) didnt actualy go around hes neck (same left). So at the end right one is on right side and left on left

look what hes doing with his hands in the back of his head .. he rigging it to be a simple slip Knot ... he rigges it so it looks like.. it goes all the way around.. there is also 2 loops.. so even if he rigged it.. it looks like he didnt...ive never been able to do this trick myslef but i know how it is done .. also notice the back and sides of the neck when it is pulled.. never touches it

criss is a great magician but sometimes i just have to wonder about him. I can't believe he would heven do this trick on tv! This is a very easy beginner trick. All magicians know how this is done.

When he put the chain from front to back(not from back to front),
When he move the chain from back to front over hear he is actually not crossing these chains cos of his long hairs we cannot able to see, then in front he ties up.
that means this chain is not at all round to his neck, magic over

I use to do this as a kid with a rope, Its the way you tie it ill just buy a rope and screw around with it for awhile and do it with a chain nothing hard. I wont say exactly how he does it but its in the way he ties it.

the chain uses angles and magnetic forces in your blood stream. the chain actually goes through his neck. it is an amazing feat, but anyone can do it. and not just your neck, your leg, your arms, for great entertainment you can even do it through your pecker. try it!!

my wife and i saw him in vegas, and we understand that magic is an illusion, but wath this guys show. he is always telling how being clean and sober has allowed him to get in touch with his spirit and that makes his "magic" possible. anyways we saw one of his tricks being filmed live and it was totally cheesy. he was trying to make a dove float in m,id air and he ahs a little platform extending out from his waste.

The trick is simple for a long haired man like chris, he just straps the chain behind his neck, both sizes are holded separetedly, just holded by some kind of tape maybe or "velcro" (i don't know if its spelled right), so what if he made a knot? the chain never crossed itself it was kept with separeted sides under the hair. It's easy, and you can see when he straps the chain behind his neck.

I'm with FedUp on this one. This is a very simple party trick and Criss Angel is capable of much better. I love a good magic trick but this sort of thing doesn't do much for his reputation.

end over shoulder same end back trick. You learned it years back with kiddies "Hocus Pocus" magic sets. (you loop the one end into the other at the back of your neck so it looks as if your looping it around your neck). For dramatic effect he presses down on the knot in front for at least some resistance and the reddish patch.

Chris really "oversells" his illusions with all his over-the-top acting (pain, exhaustion, etc.). OK, it was fun to watch but ease up on the drama Chris. We all know these are "tricks" so don't try to win a damn Oscar!

Check his hands when he wraped the chain on his neck , he spent like a second or two with his hands in the back of his head and he simply twisted the chain sides and hanged it somehow with a weak hanger in the tip of his jacket or shirt.

So easiy to notice , even you can do it. try and see.

I F**king hate it when he pretends to be in pain or also shoked with the public after a trick... it makes everything more fake.
