Don't get blown off the mountain this fall. The North Face Women's Venus Jacket neutralizes breezy conditions with a windproof (absolute 0 CFM) Apex Weatherblock shell fabric that's treated with a DWR finish to repel light rain. The Venus Jacket also has a Recco avalanche rescue reflector that makes this midweight jacket ideal for skiing and snowboarding (layer it with a waterproof shell if you like, but unlike some jackets from The North Face, this one is not Zip-In compatible). Inside the zippered pockets you'll find a mesh lining that doubles as venting--just in case you need to let a little breeze in so you stay cool while winding up the switchbacks. If you're looking for a similar fabric with a little stretch for bending your knees through the fall line, check out the Women's S.T.H Pants from The North Face.
