Recognized as one of the most popular outerwear pants for mountaineering and alpine climbing, this season's Mountain Pant from The North Face offers a slightly lighter weight without sacrificing superb functionality and weather protection. The Mountain Pant has a waterproof and breathable dual-ply SPL70SX Gore-Tex XCR fabric that's fully seam sealed for durability and uniform weather protection. The North Face redesigned the full-length side zippers with polyurethane to reduce the weight without compromising the overall performance. We like the Velcro adjustments on the waist and attached elastic suspenders because we can modify the fit according to how we layer for different weather conditions. The North Face Mountain Pant also features four pockets for various gear that doesn't fit inside your parka or climbing jacket. Inside you'll find a gaiter that easily integrates with your climbing and skiing boots for a highly effective barrier against the elements.
