Living in Astana: Kids Activities

There are several fun filled family activities for you to do with your children in Astana, and as the city continues to expand and welcome more expats and tourists the available options will only grow as well. Not only are more parks being built within the city but there are several outdoor activities to take part in in Kazakhstans countryside. Trekking, hiking, skiing, golf and camping to name a few. It is definitely recommended to take advantage of the beautiful terrain. During the cold winters, the newly opened Khan Shatyr Shopping Complex - built to be a city within a city - provides shops, restaurants, cinemas, a leisure and water park, botanical garden, mini-golf course, artificial beach, running track and a monorail. This will become one of the first stops for kids on their journey to Astana.
