Amazing Landing Gear Rescue

The best clips are not those where someone gets hurt (just imagine yourself there..) or the fun ads (they are fun but usually not real life), but those which give you some excitement with true joy of success... This is one of those!

This is an a amazing and the pilot was very skilled but this was a dangerous maneuver that shouldn't have been done. We have talked about this incident in our flight classes and everyone agrees it would be safer to have tried to retract the landing gear and done a belly landing. They aren't dangerous and usually the damage is easily repairable whereas landing on two wheels or trying what these guys did could lead to serious injuries. Its amazing it worked but it should be a lesson not to do it

when this pilot is asking help to do this kind of action to solve the problem; that means for me that he is sure about his doing and has enough sklills to do that kind of manouver..when you look closer, you will see that he has +aditionally crosswinds which makes this manouver very difficulty. So that's another point where i'm sure that he has realy good skills. the pilot saw propper space to ask for this kind of action.. realy great job for all of them.!!
the pilot, the driver of the car and of course this heroe person who's pullin out that landing gear.I'm sure they all know very well each other. Otherwise none of them won't do that.. That's only my impessions

not only was the man very daring to do that but it also takes a very disciplined and talented pilot to fly the plane that low and that slow especially in those hazardous conditions

the pilot could have made a very successful crash landing with minimal risk of fatality had he the nerve and the skill.
