  That's not how evolution works. Your children will never "become" anything. New species BRANCH OFF from existing species, creating two that exist simultaneously. One or the other might disappear for other reasons, if it can't survive.

I call BS.
The temperature of the sun, at its core, is around 15 million degrees Centigrade. If simple collapsing bubbles created that much heat, we'd long since have cheap fusion power. As a matter of fact, those pistol shrimp would create a nuclear fusion reaction every time they snapped their claws--there's plenty of fusible hydrogen in that water.

  If you actually listened to the video, you would hear that he said the surface of the sun. But thats beside the point. While it may sound strange, this is actually possible, and scientists have been able to replicate this phenomenon, to a degree. Its not nearly as explosive though. Nature does sonoluminescence better.
