Living in Warsaw: Expat View on Shopping

From massive shopping malls to tiny specialty food shops, if you look hard enough you can find anything you want in Warsaw. With so many international investors in the city, international brands are almost a necessity here. But Warsaw still manages to keep its Old World charm by balancing ultra-modern shopping complexes with small and cozy street shops. If nothing else, the expatriate will enjoy his or her shopping experience in Warsaw. Like many European cities, single shops open around 10am and close between 6 and 8pm with shortened hours on Saturday and closed on Sunday, with large shopping complexes open seven days a week.
