Cop Knocks Out 70 Year Old Woman

His OWN mother-in-law and....well... when OPPORTUNITY meets PREPARATION then.....

..for God sakes, she's freakin' 70! The cop can easily subdue her without excessive force!

he hears on the radio as he calls for back up to help with this 70 year old lady.

She's just trying to push him to be able to close the door. She's not reaching for anything.

This happened in Malta not so long ago.
The policeman did not have a gun on him as most do not over here.she was in traffic which was at a standstill and was sounding her horn to hurry the traffic up ahead of her.What he did was excessive obviously and i think will be fired and taken off the force.She's 70 years old for god's sake ..no need to knock her out.

After watching the video again, i see that what ever he had, he didnt take it from her. what he was holding was a phone which he already before the video started. So how do you figure that one out? It could be his phone, it could be the other officers phone?.... And if it was her phone why would she grab in his pocket and not his hand which is by his head! Figure it out people, and be truthful, that she got what she deserved!!!

The officer apparently has stopped her for some infraction. He is standing so she cannot close her door and drive off. She pulls at him and he fends her off with his leg at 02 sec. Then up to about 10 sec, she tries to pull him away and close her door. He fends her off again, but apparently this time ACCIDENTALLY cold C**ks her. I would say he is calling for assistance on his cell phone as any officer would HAVE to do in dealing with a female. The purse-like object in his right hand is his.

she knows that she's supposed to grope at cop like that, and he was excessive in knocking her unconscious. i'm not particularly empathetic to either person in this case.

The cop was totally justified in putting that old cow down. He shoulda jerked her outta the car and slapped that attitude out of her!!

By law if anyone reaches in contact with an officer, for example touches him in any sort of shape of way, he is allowed to hit you

All the cops I have seen have a gun(or some kind of weapon) on their belt, and the woman could have used his weapon against him. He tried to get her off and she wouldn't stop. She just gave him the finger, and tried to hurt him. It was her fault that that happened.

Although he kick her at the start of the video, she could of done something before that, the video is not full. And although he took something from her, she could of simply said it was private or she wanted it back, and for another she was in his pocket. so that suggests that she didnt want the purse or the phone etc that he took off her because that was in his hand... Think before you go jumping to conclusions, she deserved what she got, and i would of done the same, but i would of used the ASP, it has greater effect!... It also does not matter how old someone is, for all you know she could have a gun etc etc. I rest my case!

What he should have done is hand cuff her if he thought she was a threat after the first time he hit her. He obviously never took her as a serious threat since he never even moved out of place. This has to be called excessive force.

We have no idea why the woman had been stopped, however we can plainly see that the cop is doing his job while the woman is plainly harrassing him and trying to pull something off his belt, probably his gun or mace. I think he had every right to get her off him with force. She should have been sitting there quietly and cooperate.
