    There was an old comercial (I thought it was for Coke, but I could be wrong) that had a similar theme. An "American football" player (not to be confused with soccer / football) has a bad day and the kid offers him a drink so he tosses the kid his jersy at the end. That one was sappy, much funnier this way.
