It's a memory foam mattress that's embedded into the ground. funny how they don't show the ground before they set up the trick... I believe there was a human sized hole in the pavement.

the ground under him is has a hole that just fitts him and when he gets run over he is pushed into the hole, the blanket is to cover the hole up but the publicum is real unlike most of his tricks

2nd I wonder how much of the audience was really fooled by this, audiences will applaud anything.

His illusions are so over the top and unbelievable (even compared to other 'illusionists') that I don't believe they could be pulled off by conventional, real world means. Also often the people in the crowds reaction seems faked.

I don't think that was necessarily the case here (computer editing), but I do believe that happens in illusions like his walking across pool water and walking on air across two buildings.

most of his stunts probably are magic tricks, but i doubt any are scams. Some of his tricks are done in really large crowds and theres no way he can pay everyone to act. Besides, he was named magician of the year. Which they definitely dont give away just for fake tricks.

in the full length clip he says that the towles are there so that the glass does not shoot out at teh audience however glass has a very high lattice structure, so even if it did get run over by a steam roller it wouldnt shoot out it would just break. hes hiding somthing with the curtains.
