Two Lithuanian illusionists have reportedly set three new world records for holding their breath underwater.New man breath holding record: 15min 58 sec.
New woman and couple underwater record: 11 min 7 sec.

    they were practising to do this more than 2 years. yoga and meditation helped them a lot. yesterday i've seen their interview on TV.

      thats with the heart NOT beating to supply oxygen to the brain.In this case , their hearts are beating and using all the oxygen they have available in their bodies , which they could achieve by hyperventilating to saturate their blood with oxygen.

    It is impossible to hold your breath for 15 minutes, UNLESS you "help" your body. If you slow down your heartbeats and increase oxygene percent in your blood with medicines, which is directly cheating, you can do this. You can run with 40km/hr speed too, believe me. Even jump over 3-4 meters(high).
    The real breath holding world record is 5:40 something.
