This is a stop-motion video showing the construction of the Singapore Flyer (www.singaporeflyer.com.sg) which is a giant observation wheel located in Singapore. Construction is still on-going and the expected date of completion for The Singapore Flyer is in Feb 2008. Standing at a height of 165m, The Singapore Flyer has 28 capsules with each capsule able to accommodate 30 people. Each revolution around The Singapore Flyer takes about 37 minutes.
This stop-motion video is a compilation of 200 screenshots taken over a 5-month period.
Construction of The Singapore Flyer is still on-going. The capsules are not fitted yet. Expected to be ready by Feb 2008.
