Cookies for Babies are made for teething babies of 9 mos and up. If your life isn't about you anymore (aka you have a child), you know that the you'll eventually need to give them a teething cookie or something similar. With these you can rest assured that they're good. Cookies for Babies is made with only four ingredients: 100% USDA certified organic untreated (unbleached) white flour made from hard red winter wheat, enriched with vitamins B and iron. It is aged naturally and is a good source of Folate, handmade unsalted butter, a bit of organic cane sugar, and organic vanilla.
The teething cookies are egg-free, soy-free, salt-free, nut-free and yeast-free. Also, there are no preservatives or additives in them. We received Cookies for Babies a couple of months ago and, since video reviews take a while to make, edit and complete, the founder emailed us about a month later asking if we'd need another sample since there are no preservatives, the cool thing is that we tried the cookies almost two months after receiving them and they were still perfect and beyond delicious (Melissa and Nina proved it!). So the conclusion is that they will keep its freshness really well if you keep it in a cabinet for a couple of months.
A little background on how the company was created: Elizabeth Gaubeka created them when she wanted to give her daughter (then 9 months old) a wholesome biscuit made with only natural and organic ingredients. She then saw that not only her baby but adults were really enjoying the cookies, and decided to create Cookies for Babies.
How did she come up with the recipe? The cookie’s story began back in 1877, when a culinary icon was born in the Basque region of Spain - the Marquise of Parabere. She was the daughter to a French diplomat, and wasn't expected to make her own mark. Her love of cooking drove her to be a famed restaurateur and to author two culinary encyclopedias. A 1933 edition of the encyclopedia was passed down to the Elizabeth's family, from which they have delicately adapted one of her recipes to bring you an up-to-date version of a timeless classic. It’s an all-natural, artisanal cookies.
Cookies for Babies comes in a box.
Each box weights 4 oz (113.4 gr) and the box is made with 100% recycled material.
Want cookies for babies at your local store or supermarket? I, for one, would love to see them at Trader Joe's. Print a request here.
