    Sometime i just wonder why these driver always think the road is only use by him. The road is build to be use by everyone. When want to stop in highway, always remember stop as far as posible from the main road.
    The police is smart.

    that truck is almost fully in the emergency lane. If the cop would have been getting out of his car, he would have been taken out too. totally the trucker's fault. He should be thrown in a cel and forgotten.

      was in the emergency "lane" after he hit the car. Note he didn't hit the police car. What we don't see is what was happening on his left side.

      Remember, the average alert truck driver needs 295 feet to stop. So, don't get in front!

      that cop was pretty much in the grass past the emergency lane... the car was IN the emergency lane when he was hit.. there is no excuse for the way that truck took that guy out... sure wasnt the cars fault...

      The truck was in the emergency lane, but not having seen why he was in that lane, one cannot assume it was entirely his fault. Maybe he was cut off by some other retard driver that was distracted by the routine traffic stop and all the colorful lights that ensue, or maybe someone was tailgating another retard who panic swerved causing a chain reaction which led to the truck choosing that lane to avoid smashing someone else. It's hard to say what happened only seeing one perspective. One thing is for certain; the person driving in that car got fugged up!

    It's not the truck driver's fault. He had to swerve to keep from hitting a small sedan. Look closely at 10.5 secs into the clip. You can see the smaller car squeezing in between the rig & an SUV.

  • Learn a lesson

    When pulling over for the police, find a safe spot to stop, you don't have to pull over immediately. This applies to city driving as well. If cop gives you trouble, just tell him you stop as soon as possible when you thought it was safe to do so. Also, swerving to avoid someone who 'cut' you off makes no sense. Use the brakes or let them hit you ... depends what is going on

      there are laws that protect other drivers, if you break them the police pull you over. So I doubt what he was pulled over for was worth dying for, but it is his own stupidity that got him killed. now think about this if this moron was still driving whose life would he take? then the comment is why didn't the cops do anything about him?

      the road was very crowded, the truck may have been cut off. You can hear the truck driver all over the engine brake before the cop even starts to bitch. Of course hes out of control hes bringing 20,000+ lbs. from 70 to 0 mph. It's a Shame guy probably had a tag out.
