Stan Meyer's water powered car. Water is split off into oxygen / hydrogen gases using unconventional electrolysis - hitting the water where it hurts most to break it down. Would love to build and drive one of these!

    hi,there

i hope this site may be help many people.....Has anyone tried another water for gas kit?

i think many people don't have to try something to understand that it works.
I've seen facts on the news and all over the Internet, that running a car on water IS possible. Even that I haven't
tried doing it, it doesn't mean that it's impossible.

this is not spam but i want many people to see other choice.Has anyone tried the kit? like water4gas,runyourcaronwater etc.

car2water.com shows how, by separating the hydrogen from the water to improve a cars combustion of gasoline and so increase mileage. Water as part of the process not water alone which is what confuses the issue

  • This is not bulls**t!

Do some research! The problem of this being an alternative fuel is you can make it at home. No taxes are collected because of the free fuel. The problem being no taxes no roads, what are you going to drive on?

This is not a new invention. Check out searches on Hydroxy, Browns Gas, Wood Gas, Tesla Turbines, Compressed Air Cars. There are others as well do your part and do some research before you holler bulls**t!

The same thing happened in the 1930's. The inventor and the engine disappeared as soon as the oil companies heard of the invention. Coincidence ?????
Pray that he left blueprints or has other unknown helpers to continue his efforts. Until they can be distributed to many people, no one is safe from the oil companies.

why don't you know it all geeks get off your butt and do some reaserch on the subject. Oh my god, maybe even try to build the design yourself. The problem with America is you people. You are the sickness itself. Instead of "DOING" you "Talk" instead of "ACTING" you "COMPLAIN". For chist sake, it's already been done. Your like a bunch of old people running around saying there is no such thing as aliens. Simply put, get off your ass, step away from the keyboard and the chat lines and become a productive human being. I am going to try and build it. I may fail but at least I'll learn first hand what you'll never know or understand.

    • Look my friend

Hey Mr. Powertrip, you might want to calm down. See, one of the main ways people are "suppressed" from such information as this, is through the lack of communication between people. If it was all reliant on "get off your lazy butt and go invent it!", then most people are screwed. However, with things such as the internet, chat rooms, and websites, information spreads and makes more people aware of what's going on, and what developments have taken place.

    • I would but....

You know, i've been researching how to create my own efficient electrolysis for my car...I'm currently getting 35mpg average with my Civic and I plan to either double or triple that using a device similar to Meyer's electrolysis. Luckily, some blessed person posted Meyer's designs online as a reference - now, it's basically all about putting the thing together and get it running in my car.

  • It does work

A good friend of mine was in the audience in Greenville, SC ten years ago when Dennis Lee demonstrated the water powered engine on stage. I saw the video made at that demonstration. This is no joke. But the oil people hate it, and will do everything in their power (which is considerable) to discredit Lee.

  • Not True - Heres the facts.

This idea is based on the idea of a ' Hydrogen Economy' when hydrocarbons run out. Hydrogen burns very efficiently giving more energy than regular fuel. The problem is that to break up water you need to use electrolysis which is basically using electricity to break up the water. So where o great Mr. Meyer do you get the electricity from . . . So maybe he has a battery, but the energy stored in it surely came from the burning of non-renewable fuels, rendering the invention pointless. Notice the dirty fumes escaping the exhaust?? When you do
electrolysis on water you get O2 (oxygen gas) and H2 (Hydrogen gas) the hydrogen is exploded with oxygen to provide H2O (water). So the only emmision should be oxygen gas, presuming the water is renewed. So to sum up, we have NO known technology that can split apart water without using energy already. However if he has a powerful battery he can run with say 3L of water and a steady oxygen supply (air, lol) and still theoretically end up with 3L water and a used up battery.

    • Meyer's set up.

His electrolysis machines use a fraction of the power most typical electrolysis devices use. He basically figured out that if you emit electricity at a certain frequency/pulse interval, you can achieve water fracture without the use of extra electrolytes or additives like most electrolysis devices. His version of the electrolysis was basically far more efficient and required the continuous power produced from the alternator.

  • Fuel cells

I've seen a lot about fuel cells on TV. They had them on the british TV series 'tomorrow's world'. They have been shown at motorshows and on lots of TV programmes, so they must work...

I can't work out how they work though... water goes in, is split, goes over a membrane that works in a similar way to a daniel's cell, gets recombined to make water and somehow in that process enough energy is extracted from the water to power a car and power the initial splitting. surely the energy you got out of the membrane would exactly cover the initial splitting. It must have a big change in entropy or enthalpy to be able to get enough energy out of it.
I've also seen ones where the input isn'T**ter , but hydrogen from a pipe and oxygen from the air. those ones seem to make more sense.

the world needs a more environ. friendly replacement for petrol. Electric cars are less efficient than petrol and diesel cars as diesel cars are 40% efficient and power stations are only 10% efficient, electric cars are therefore <10% efficient.

By KX36 1139774585 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
  • Not real

Water contains so little energy that the car would had tu use 40 to 50 gallons per mile. Not very effective, and the car had to be the size of a train to house the plant.

By laaars 1139763581 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • WRONG

LOL........okay, so how did you come up with those figures? One inventor already created a car, a friggin' Ford of all things, running 100 miles on 8oz of water. Do the research yourself, and find out what the real numbers are before making yourself look like an idiot posting inaccurate figures.

By Innovation07 1154667362 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
  • Can understand both sides!

Some parts of this makes sense, submarines make use of the oxygen/hydrogen from the water and only need to resurface for food. However, it does take some type of energy input to break the H-O bond ing(in us naval submarines is radioactive-note I don't know much on this subject apart from the big picture)

Now on the other hand, yes the government has been known to keep alternative fuel sources away from the public. Example would be a full all out working tesla experiment, where a v8 engine ran with basicly no fuel. The patent was submitted and never developed, later on after tesla died his patent was modified and when re-tested(fishy or what! why modify the patent?then re-test something that scientist proofed and witness) it somehow failed to work. This sparked some new ideas and currently theres another tesla model which works around the same principle.

  • No Way

First thing I noticed when the clip started playing was the hairstyles of the newscasters.

Then they were talking about Star Wars Defense system SDI.. Strategic Defense Initiative.

Then there's the fact that the guy's driving a dune buggy for pete's sake.

All three of these things add up to this clip being from the 1980s. So where's the water powered engines now?

Don't say the oil companies are preventing its being developed because obviously cars running on natural gas, methane, corn fuels, and electricity are running around now. But not one water motor. Not one.

The guy was convicted as a scam artist. People said they'd achieved cold fusion too and that was a scam too. Don't believe everything you read and consider the source with your skeptical rational mind.

    Water motors. C'mon kids, please.

By Jenga 1139732842 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down

They still needs development. The motor he used is too exspensive to use. But Scientists have got FAR. In 10 years or so we will probably have water engines.

...but it IS possible, and HAS been done.
Meyer was convicted of fraud 'cause his was a scam, but many a legit scientist has developed a water powered engine of some sort. You just don't hear about them in mainstream news because the oil companies buy all the patents...
can't blame them. If someone developed a way to put me out of business, I'd buy the rights from them too.

u think that oil companies buying you out would be worth it? you would make Gajillions by selling the cars, if u sold one for 50 g's, after 100 people buy it that is 50 million dollars right there. If you were smart enough to make a water powered car you would be smart enough not to sell your patent, that is why you have never made a water powered car. (by the way, if 10 000 people bought it the person selling would receive half a billion dollars, i think more than that would sell though)

By faranglao 1164454300 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Do the math?

If you sell each car for 50 g's after a hundred sales you'd have 5 Million. Not 50 million. But the fact is that many inventors would prefer to sell the rights to thier inventions than attempt to develope and sell the invention itself. Often the ideas however plausable never make it from the "It looks good on paper" phase. The problem that affects many inventors is the lack capital and the ability to raise the capital or manage the businsess end of taking a product from concept to cash flow. Take a look at the invention that drove Howard Hughs senior to his unsumountable riches. The conical drill was not invented by Hugh's. It was puchased by Hughs who saw the potential to revolutionize the oil industry. The concept of the conical drill was not even a new one. It was Hugs who put the money behind it and the lawyers as well. He took the purchased idea and filed the first patent on it . He then spent a lot of time in litigation suing anyone else with similar designs. I don't know the specific power requirments for the electrolytic separation of water into it's gas components however in theary if the process could be started using a battery or bank of batteries the gas produced could be used to fuel an internal combustion engine. Some of the power from the internal combustion engine should then be able to be used to charge the battery bank (much as you standard automobile rechages it's own battery). Depending on how much power is required to release the potential energy of the water it would make water a reliable fuel souce. The byproduct of burning hydrogen gas by the way is (interesting enough) water. That is not to say that burning the hydrogen produced by a litre of water is going to produce a liter of water as exhaust. But some of the exhaust would be able to be recycled into the fuel cell. My guess is the only reason we are not seeing any real main stream development in the hydrogen fuel cell technology is that the elctrolysis process requires a large or very expensive cell. Perhaps the power requirments to break the water apart are higer than the potential of hydrogen produced. Whatever the reason that this technology has yet to make it to automobiles it is a real technology that is currently being investigated (and has been for some time.) Maybe some day we will find this technology available to the consumer but then by the time it makes it to market there may be somthing even better. One last note. In doing a little reseach I did find that the same type of technology is currently being used to desalinate water with the byproducts being oxegen, hydrogen and fresh water.

    • Reasons

The reason why you don't often hear about this technology more often is simply because this type of hardware will put the OIL COMPANIES out of business; and I wouldn't be a surprise if they put all that extra cash they're squeezing out of us into ways of suppressing this technology. FYI, Stan Meyers was assassinated for his work...He's a hero, and I hope more people will follow in his work.

By Innovation07 1154668187 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • REAL reasons

I'm sure there's some truth behind the oil companies keeping things like this quiet, but I think the MAIN problem is that you have an electrolytic (involving electricity) engine forming hydrogen gas (and O2), and hydrogen gas + sparks do not go together well.

One misplaced spark or even a tiny hydrogen gas leak, and "BOOM!" Bye bye, birdie

  • Bogus

Stanley Meyer 1996 claimed to have a water powered car and was also big on mixing Christianity and patriot politics in with fringe science. Meyer was found guilty of fraud after his Water Fuel Cell was tested before an Ohio judge. It is rare for an inventor to be prosecuted for an invention that does not work, but Meyer's problem was that he had been selling "dealerships", offering investors the "right to do business in Water Fuel Cell technology." Meyer refused to allow anyone else to measure his device. Dennis Lee invested in him. He died in early 1998. Stanley Meyers gets locked up for phony water powered cars

By Eric4x4 1139421134 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Stan Myers was not bogus

In one of the Patents test Labs, so much hydrogen was produced from an electrical source which was way below conventional hydrolysis requirements, (the essential principal of this marvelous technology), the alarms went off, and the whole building got evacuated.

The world leaders crap on about clean air and ozone depletion, but they assasinated Stan Myers simply because he threatenned their oil revenues.

They will tolerate a few alternative energy technologies, but the whole planet running on power out of the water tap?

Mankind will wake up one day, and sooner than the oil merchants know.

Hydrogen fuel cell technology is in use in transportation read the article on the folowing link. In this case Iceland is using Hydrogen fuel cells which use Hydrogen and oxegen to create electricity to power thier busses. They have a hydrogen fuel station which uses electrolysis to seperate water into it's gas components. This is a short quote I copied directly from the article "Hydro is the supplier

Norsk Hydro Electrolysers supplied the fuelling station, which consists of four elements – an electrolyser, which produces hydrogen from water and electricity, a compressor that provides the desired pressure, storage tanks and the fuelling system itself.

There is no need to transport fuel to the station – all that is required is a connection to the water mains and the power grid.

      read the whole article here: http://www. hydro.com /en/press_room /news/archive/ no_news_ view/ hydrogen_i celand/ hydrogen_ iceland_ main_ en.html
