- I did this only with
  a river that dried out, then at the sea, the sea made a sand wall, then as the river filled the over flow made surf like in this video just smaller surf, this happens every 2years or so,

the french name for this wave is "mascaret", I don't know english name
it happens when the tide takes over the stream of the river
poroca is the best mascaret for surfers , we have one in France, and thereis one in china but so huge that you can't survive if you try to surf it
so, not a fake... mascarets work every day when the stream and tide are sufficient...
