Very professional but not to much where you don’t feel like you have developed a relationship with Jim Buchanan you feel like you have a friend almost immediately into the whole process. And then after the project is finished we consider Jim a friend. He has worked closely with us through a major part of our life. It’s hard to leave each day for work. We get pleasure of having guests over to our home. They are just amazed again with the items that are included with the base price. We have a lot of relatives and friends from up north that will come down and they can’t believe we have a builder down here in South Carolina. Without a sign out front you can tell he does a lot of the quality brick homes, a classy look to it. The regal entrances, very elegant entrances, the landscaping, even the layout of the driveway or the sidewalk. You think you know what you want and he will say this is very nice but what if we do it this way. And he makes it beautiful. There are no perpendicular lines. It’s all very sweeping and just enhances when you walk into the interior of the home. You can tell outside that when you get inside it is a Buchanan Home. From the get go from the moment we cleared the lot to when we got the plans. You give him a call and he would be here in 5 minutes he was very accommodating to our schedule. Sometimes we were down here 8 or 9 o’clock at night. He made the building process very exciting for us and very rewarding. We came to Jim with the basic floor plan and he took a look at it and right away he was able to visualize some changes he suggested we make to it. And he made it a lot more elegant and more appealing, sort of an artist at work there. You can tell that he had done a lot of this and he knew what would make the home stand out. And while we had a concept of what we wanted we haven’t built as many houses as Jim has. So it was comforting to know that someone with so much experience and someone who was excited for the out come of the product was spearheading the product.

I think hands-on if you were to choose one word that would be the word. He is out here himself 24/7. I’ve even seen him out here swinging the hammer while he was here. He knows how things should be done. He has excellent laborers working for him and leadmen but as the owner of the company he is out here himself. His name is on the product so Jim is very concerned on how the whole thing turns out and if you are happy. I don’t know how many times he asked us if we were happy. Are you happy we heard that many many times and we always were.
