NACHMAN LIVE! Matchmaker, Part 1

NACHMAN LIVE! "the wonderful matchmaker", part 1. my own personal gestalt therapy dreamwork interpreted according to stories of "rebbe of the avant garde" nachman of breslav ("the lost princess" and "the heart of the world & the spring") and sections of "likutei moharan" (nachman's "collected essays". nachman's texts are brought to life using the gestalt therapy work on awareness, dreams and personal relationships, which applies nachman's point of view to typical human situations. musically, the video is in "rondo" form, with the initial "matchmaker" theme recurring several times. the web of imagery associations spreads very wide, from deepest, darkest kabbalah to the experimental theater world of new york in the "60's". hence, both atheists and ultra-orthodox frummies are sure to take offense. on the other hand, baby boomers dealing with aging and followers of the oriental middle way might enjoy the piece. the NACHMAN LIVE! project combines fragments of 1500 pages of my essays and excerpts from 20 hours of my videos, all of which you can find in their original complete form at the "franklynwepner.com" website.
