    I've been taking Coke syrup for upset stomach since I was a little kid of 3yrs of age. I'm 50 now. My grandfather was a pharmacist for most of his life. 40 years or more ago the only way to get Coke syrup for upset stomach was with a doctors prescription or if you were a pharmacist. Pouring the Coke from one container to another 5 or 6 times will also work,(as seen here), until the soda has gone flat.
