Incident is a Boeing 737 landing at Birmingham, UK with the right landing gear missing, after tearing off the starboard gear when attempting to land at East Midlands Airport in bad weather. The pilot missed the runway and landed in the grass, doing extensive damage to the aircraft. He was able to fly some 40 miles to Birmingham, where the incident was caught on video by the West Midlands Police helicopter.

It was a good landing
BUT, it was HIS fault in the First place, the plane was damaged.. Fancy missing a runway in the Midlands.. What with all that Technology on board! WHOOPS.. No Bonus for him this year.

That landing was beautiful, the pilot(s) did an absolutely fantastic job. The emergency crew however was pretty friggin retarded, maybe they were all stoned? Very poor coordination and response time. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any flames coming from the ground right in front of the trucks. WTF?
