    If these were real, it's likely to get the victims to have heart attacks. The heart is in a low pumping mode when the person is asleep and normal pumping mode when they are awake. It takes a few minutes for the heart to go from low pumping mode to normal pumping mode. If you are awaken this way like in these pranks, a weak heart will go into what is called arrhythmia which can brough on a full blown heart attack.
