  100 degrees Celsius is the boiling point of water. 212 degrees Fahrenheit. So to say it's 51 degrees Celsius puts it at about 124 degrees Fahrenheit. Nowhere near the boiling point. However, I'm from Phoenix, where it gets just about that hot outside in the summer and yeah, it's hot.

  51C is about 120 - 125F. I take showers hotter than that. At about 140 - 145F, you have trouble keeping your hand in the water. At 120, it is a bit uncomfortable for a couple of minutes, but not dangerously unbearable.
