    yea i know that, but cuz i raised more that 17 cats in my life and only two did this when were fully grown so it was a bit strange for the other ones i raised, lol it was cute, and thx for the info anyway, and thx for the effort of writing all of those lines...

  • What the cat is doing......

    The cat is pressing on your belly the same way it pressed on the belly of it's mother as it suckled when it was a kitten. When nursing, the kitten will push on the momma's belly to help keep the milk flowing. Adult cats continue this behavior with people as a way of communicating trust, comfort, and a feeling of safety. It's also very soothing and comforting for the cat. I don't know if there is a proper name for the activity, but some people call it 'kneading', such as kneading dough.
