Rejectedjokes.com presents a short about the perfect way to get away with cheating on a loved one.
By: rejected jokes
I wish i had seen that sooner, ive just been to a magic show where they asked someone in the audience to tie the magicians hands before he got in a box full of water, imagine his face if i did this knot lol, then i could have filmed it... damn!
then the magician would have used his magic to free himself. he would then proceed to probe you with his ice pick. you would not enjoy that and you would regret ever trying to fool him, because magic rules :D
know about the double fisherman's knot
thats funny as hell
Each half of this knot is called a fisherman's knot,
(because it is used to tie fishing line onto hooks and with such a thin line it is definitely hard to undo.) Using two together in the way shown is a double fisherman's knot. It's used, among other things, to tie together two climbing ropes for example when doing a double rope rappel which is where I first learned it. With climbing rope its pretty easy to untie but it definitely won't come undone on it's own, and isn't that what you're really looking for in a knot? :-)
that knot is very useful in climbing. Its called a prusux sp? anyways, its actually not that hard to get undone with practice.
Good instructions though...
Keep up the good work!
thanks a lot i tied my shoes together and i had to cut the laces to get em off
You guys rock! Keep them coming please!
Only when I did this knot with natural twine was it impossible to untie. I had to tighten very hard though. Something about the natural stretch of the twine really locked it in place like it was fused.
new laces are the solution lol
to those shoes!
5 Stars. Useful for so many things.....
wait till you see his own face when he wakes up in the morning and notice he can't undo the knot
yet again, i learned something useful today
keep 'em coming...
good work
Very usefull info, just tried it, WORKS SO WELL LOL thanks shooting eggs.
We use this knot in S.E.S ( state emergency service(australia)) It is mainly used for tying two different sizes of rope together. for eg. a shoe lace and climbing rope quite different thiknesses but will not slip loose try it. To undo, tug the ends of the ropes away from each other. this will slightly seperate the two knots. then hold firmly on the two knots and pull away from each other. i wish i had put this knot up on meta.....then i might have got $1,126 holly crap thats awesome for 2 mins work.... not even work.
yup, good stuff, but I figure it takes more than 20 min. to make 2 min. of concise video. I'd rather guess about 2 hours...
we use this knot in S.E.S (state emergency service)(australia) its very usefull to tie two different sized ropes together for eg. shoe lace and climbing rope. they won't slip and can be undone fairly easily, just hold both end of rope and tug away from each other once that will slightly seperate the two knots then grap both knots firmly and pull away. but for most people who don't know knots then it is fairly funny watching them try and work out how to undo.
yes
That is a very common rock climbing knot. I dont remember the name of it off the top of my head but it is one of the strongest knots for joining 2 ropes together.
was basically two stopper hitches entwined... it can come undone... however, you can tie a basic knot like a reef knot and it may be hard to undo since the line is so small
thanks a lot i tied my shoes together and i had to cut the laces to get em off
I have tied these knots many times. It is known as a double fishmans knot. It is certainly very secure, but it is possible to untie.
google "DOUBLE FISHERMANS KNOT" and you will see...
ima do this in a shoe store...*laughing*
My little brother is going to be sorry I saw this. lol
If you can't undo a knot,
then it's not a knot.
Look up the definition.
#
1. A compact intersection of interlaced material, such as cord, ribbon, or rope.
2. A fastening made by tying together lengths of material, such as rope, in a prescribed way.
Yes, that is how people describe a knot but you ask any person who is into knots and they will tell you that if you can't undo it, then it's a "real" knot.
A real knot holds together 100% and is easy to untie.
This is a great video,
but it's not impossible like it says.
I just tried tying the knot and after doing it perfectly and pulling as hard as I can, I got it undone.
Which makes THIS a knot,
but not a well one by the REAL WORLD definition.
dont be mad cuz the put this up
so hard to to tie URRRG!!!

I can't believe you made almost $1000 by just showing people how to tie a double fisherman's knot, something you learn in boy scouts.
This is a double fishermans knot.... retarded..
