Well here is the answer that all the highly educated engineers could never find. Or were they even looking...?

  • OK

Now what happens if the beam thing slips and aims into the sea......

  • I sure hope...

he can find a way to harness and use the energy that comes from that. (And that the energy released from it is greater than the energy required to start the reaction.) There's a WHOLE lot more seawater than oil out there.

Of course, some ecofreak moron will probably complain when we use seawater for fuel, too.

    ??? ;)

God bless that man, that is so damn amazing. I wish I would strike crazy, but yet amazing ideas like that. Go give it a dip in the atlantic, is what I say.

YOUR GOVERNMENT WOUNT USE ANY OF IT OR MAKE IT POPULAR COZ THEY HAVE TO MUCH INVESTED IN OIL IN THE MIDDLE EAST!!!

  • SALT equals RUST

so what will cars be made of in the near future?.. plastics?.. glass?.. great idea, but needs more pondering..

  • Radio energy

If the radio energy is splitting the hydrogen out of the seawater how much energy does THAT take? Unless this is some radically efficient new way of cracking hydrogen out of water it's going to take more energy to get the hydrogen than you would get back out of it.

By Studedriver 1183176734 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Well It should...

It should only take a constant ammount of energy to start and operate the machine, while the ammount of fuel consumed is relative to the ammount generated, increase the imput of fuel and the requirments need to cause the reaction stay the same you will have a much greater output of energy...ie takes the same ammount of radio energy to convert 1oz of saltwater as 1 gal

    • Better look for cancer cure.

This energy solution is unnefficient. It takes more energy to break the water molecule than the energy output it can create.
Anyhow, it's thousand times more usefull to defeat cancer than trying to find the "moto perpetuo".

By RBra 1183258426 Reply Spam [-1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Actually it will take

128 times as much energy to break down 1 gallon of water as 1 oz. The energy you are seeing in this process is derived from Hydrogen re-uniting with Oxygen both of which were parts of water molecules in the seawater just seconds before the energy from the radio waves split them apart. This is not a spontaneous reaction between energetic components already present in the water. If you were to measure the heat generated by this entire contraption (including waste heat) you would find it to be watt-for-watt identical to any ordinary electric heater that you plug into your wall socket. No net generation of energy is present.

    • It's a net loss of energy

The energy required to break the water into Hydrogen and Oxygen is going to be greater than the energy yielded by this device. He's using energy generated at a power plant somewhere for the electricity used by his machine and getting way less back in return. The first law of thermodynamics has not been repealed by an amateur scientist in his garage workshop.

    • They could use...

some solar plates for cars as they want save energy for the radiowaves generator. But if that won't work, try some uranium ;-)

By ComodoFox 1183309480 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • you

might as well use the energy generated from the solar cells to power the car directly therefore there is no pollution shipping the salt water etc

  • radio waves from space do not have enoug...

So saying with the thinning ozone layer, some studies suggest that this could be the reason for global warming.

A stirling engine upside down in sunlight would do exactly the same, pity they are f n difficult to produce on a large scale, also work in cold as long as there is a difference in temp between one side and the other.

  • The best energy source

The best energy source is solar photovoltaic energy from the deserts of this world. The electrical energy generated by solar modules can split the water to hydrogen which can move cars and fuel power plants. Covering only a part of the desert can generate many times of the global energy which is needed. See the what the European Desert Project is planing on hydrogen as clean fuel.

  • mm..

But then the same thing would happen to us as to whats happening to us now.
If we start using that salt water, whats going to happen is that we are going to use up more, more, and more saltwater coming from the sea, and eventually.. The saltwater will run out. Just like whats happening with the petrol/diesel.
    there will come a time..

  • To everyone who said there is no net ene...

you people do realize they are using salt water? and you can burn salt? maybe the splitting generates enough energy to keep on splitting but the salt extracted can be burnt you know.

if you don't know how salt burns, spray some over your kitchen fire. as a side note, poor people in asia and africa use salt to "spark" fires.

in a million years we ran out of ocean water?

will be the same as the salt water in the ocean, will the gov. not let us swim in it??

  • Are you nuts?

Does anybody have a microwave oven? Ever see a fire start there while heating food? Microwave energy essentially boils the water in the food and causes it to heat up and cook. Microwave energy is electromagnetic energy which, in turn, is also radio waves.
Ship-board radars generate a huge amount of radio frequency energy. They also are near salt water. Ever heard of a fire on a radar antenna?

Don't you think that with all the clever RF engineers that helped develop cell phones, radar, satellite, AM amd FM, garage door openers, WiFi, microwave ovens, GPS systems, television, etc., that one of them would have uncovered this latest miracle by now?

the above word is ancient greek and
it describes on device which never stops runing for ever! Why u r wondering about the power that needed to make the RF ways? It coold be the product of a simple 100KHZ generator. Look my site in 10 days and you realize if hellas can hack the world to make it better!
