    That is really quite brilliant! I had been mulling over a trap that works like a minnow trap, but had not figured out how to keep them from getting out (toying with trap door ideas), but you have made it very simple. I will make it tonight. I already know it will work. I have been feeding the mouse--just to keep it from destroying my food packages, so it will be EASY. Thanks!

    I have mice in my basement. I was using a humane mouse trap. Seems as though the trap is not working because they are getting out. I am now going to try your method. I noticed I can lift up two pieces of tape and release them to a different location. Thanks...I will let you know how it works out.
