    1) This will NOT work for everyone. As a matter of fact, most adults have lost the ion strength to conduct such a test. This is due to our unhealthy diets and lifestyles.
    2) A woman conducting this test will get the opposite reading over the same bird. The reading will be favorable (clockwise) over the opposite sex.
    3) The pendulum need not be held over the object being tested. You can hold the pendulum with one hand and then touch the object with the other. This way you can leave the bird in it's cage.
    4) Forget the cork and copper. Any weight on a six inch string will work.

      There is provable science behind this. Many people will not get a reading but try this, hold a weight on a six inch string over the end of a charged AA battery. If your pendulum begins to move in a circular fashion then you are ion active. Be sure to keep your forearm in a slightly downward angle.
      Have your friends try it. Eventually you will find someone who is ion active.
