That was the cause of the dollar supremacy... Ofcourse everybody needs oil right!... Then moths or weeks before the 9/11 event Iraq started selling their oil with EURO causing an inflation in the US.. To prevent this US needed to attack Iraq and control their oil but US needed a reason so there you have it 9/11.
