This is a simple yet effective way to power any 2AA or 2AAA remote control using the sun. The Solar panels are available on Ebay, the diode and battery can be scavenged or gotten at Radio Shack.

I DON'T FIND IT PRACTICAL
The concept is good but tell me how long your remote battery is wasted? for me it took months. maybe you can apply your concept to other bigger things but spare the remote guys.

Hmm..
I wish that they sell those in stores... I hate looking for good batteries or having to constanly buy new ones. Very good for the enviroment and the batteries will always be charged. Battery companies would most definitly hate you for this if you mass produced them. nice :)
