  • Somewhat inaccurate

    While I don't say that you should trust such an application, the video is quite inaccurate. The CreateFile function does not necessarily create files; it is used for everything that has to do with files on Windows, including OPENING files and some devices. Any program will call CreateFile hundreds of times to access system DLLs and files. This is all a normal and is typically done by Microsofts own standard modules that are always used by your program.

    Try examining the result of using Process Explorer on notepad. It does 337 calls to CreateFile on my workstation.

      yeah, thanks for the comments, im still learning (im only 18) but i thought id bring up these programs. Pmonitor is a good tool just to kinda of learn whats happening in the background, and the layer thing is still better than no protection.

      Hey first of all thanks a lot for this wonderful info.
      Now I can understand it's an amazing tool to use with keygens and stuff but how do u use it with cracks cuz cracks usually modify something and if this will revert all changes it won't work.
      any advice?
