  • I agree!

Sorry, this bike does nothing for me. Where the hell do I put the beer?

By Torque 1139331900 Reply Spam [+1] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • No need for a beer holder, Torque :)

If you can afford this little monster you are a lucky mormon or a arabic prince. Only they have a saltlake or plain desert to run this bad baby with enough space to do some curves also and both didn`t drink beer that much :)

  • It's Quite Impressive..! This Tomahawk M...

Ok I've done quite a bit of researching on this bike. IF they were to put a temporary wheelie bar on the back of it. And then take it for a spin down the quarter mile. Of course I would truely enjoy riding it on the Salt Flats in Utah and setting the World's Speed Record for a Motorcycle. Now That would be Impressive!
Once and for all show the world the actual and for real top speed of this lil' Puppy!

  • Bike is a joke!

I read about this bike in a magazine. They paid a professional rider to ride it during a photoshoot. He only got it up to 35 mph and ended up laying it over. If a professional racer can't keep the bike up then how is an average rider?
They also claim that the bike has a top speed of 300 mph. There is no way that bike will do that. The bike has lots of power but the air dynamics are terrible.
I don't even consider this vehicle a motorcycle. Real motorcycles have 2 wheels and lean into coners. This ugly thing has and does neither. This is just like the ridiculous choppers that you see an the Discovery channel. Some people like to look at them but other that they are pretty much useless.

  • Stupid lookin bike!

Not only that but totally useless. What the heck do you need a V10 on a bike for?! I'd love to see someone ride this on a curvy road... hah!

  • i`ve seen this before

when it was just a prototype like around 4-5 yrs ago. i wonder how much it is and how fast it goes. But i have to say that the background was an awful place to shoot the commercial for this bike. :)) they coul have shot it in a better place!

By mell 1139345160 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
  • but...

they didn't tell us how fast it goes... ive always wondered how fast a "bike" would be if it had the massive power of a performance car engine while staying relatively light in comparison to the power of the engine... now i see they've tried it and they didnt say how fast it goes :'(
also i'd like to point out that riding position doesn't look very good at all, it doesn't look cool and it probably doesn't make it very easy on the rider.

By KX36 1139336014 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Should be pretty fast!

The thing has a 8.3 V10 engine. This means 500 bhp, and a top speed, they say, that cannot be reached. The ESTIMATED top speed - their words, not mine - is supposed to be 300+ Mph.
Of course it doesn't look like it's easy to drive nor agile... Still it can be an inspiration for future (and better) works. People who say it has no sense may be right when it comes to street usage, but should think it as an experimentation. :)

  • powerplant

In case you weren't aware of it this thing is powered by the Dodge VIPER enigne. Something of that size needs 4 wheels. Also, its NOT production. Just something that the Dodge Special Vehicle people did for the sheer ludacrisness of it.

By Snafus87 1139332735 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
  • Very Cool Look

I don't imagine it would corner very well though. It would likely have a tendancy to go onto one side of wheels, which on appearance would be to thin to have a proper grip. I'm guessing this is why the video does not include footage on a test course. None the less - it would have everybody looking if it drive down the street.

By OneLargeMouthAss 1139331743 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Thin wheels

The bike got 4 wheels due to it's weight. It's to heavy to lift so it needs them to stay upright. The bike has a mecanism ti lay down in the curves. So it curves well, but not on bumpy road. In that film he didn't touch the throttle either.

  • its just a stupid looking bike

doesent evn look that fast , just ugly

By 360 1139330641 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
  • I've seen this

At the washington Auto show in 2005, and it has 4 wheels so technicly its not a motor cycle, it's a car

  • Bah!

A stock Yahama R1 also has a 0-60 of 2.5 secs. And you don't see a clip of this thing turning do you? Because it can't do it elegantly or at any decent speed! A waste of money...
