Those in power in the U.S. know (as does the U.N) that if the pressure was to be let off the middle east now - it would be a dangerous mistake. Perhaps a larger mistake ebing madee is the tactics being used to fight the fanantic regimes. Instead of using bombs, tanks etc... where innocent life can be lost (collateral damage) - fight fire with fire! Cut the head off and give the wealth to the people - assasinate the bastards in charge. Secretly so they are not martered of course. Recruit a few good mullahs, etc.. to loudly oppose violence and read true scripture from the holy books, without interpretation - there really is no need to explain truth. Reward those who join against the currupt, pay them well and hire a marketing firm to get the word out.

When your done - clean up Africa, there are much larger problems occuring there than any country in the middle east.

Ahmadinejad's supporters claim that various remarks have been mistranslated, misinterpreted and exaggerated in the interest of harming the nation of Iran.At a news conference on January 14, 2006, Ahmadinejad claimed his speech had been misinterpreted, stating "There is no new policy, they created a lot of hue and cry over that. It is clear what we say: Let the Palestinians participate in free elections and they will say what they want."

The refusal of various govts to get the heads of religions together to find a solution to their problems. Religion will cause chaos unless the International body unites to restrict the teachings of religions. Religions should be held liable to any deaths that occur. As it's a crime to murder...there needs to be some sort accountability in place to deter religions from using peoples lives to advance their religious cause. In 1974 when turkey (an islamic country) invaded Cyprus (a christian country) USA and UK helped them and there is enough evidence that RAF was bombing alongside the turkish airforce. If they invaded the US or had an attack like in Pearl Harbor well ok I would understand the anger. That’s a reason. Yet attacking Iraq for something that some loonies in Afghanistan “did” in NY, then just going and attacking Iran for some “rumors” that they are making weapons of mass destruction is just nuts.
