Many people think if they could only get started or find the right direction it would save them a lot of time. This is just a general overview of the most common types of hacking and what knowledge is required. I don't cover brute force attacks, buffer overflows, sql injections, port scanning, and other stuff that requires a long time to explain.

1. Learn Hex
2. Learn the assembly programming language.
3. Learn TCP IP packets and learn to use sockets.
4. Use the right tools.

No, dude. You got it wrong. C doesn't come with a built in garbage collector. You have to do all the garbage collecting yourself. What you said makes you sound ignorant, like you're not that experienced.
Some OOP languages like Java, however, do. But, Java has a Virtual Machine, so once you shut down the virtual machine, all the dangling pointers and all the data that might've gotten lost in the ether go away once it shuts down anyways. But, it still has an automatic garbage collector built into the language anyways.

I had to call you on your error. Dude, C does not come with a garbage collector built into it.
That's Java, dude. I guess that's what separates computer scientists from you technical support types. lol, jk.
