  • What a crock of S...

I just went to Dove's web site and it is just filled with a bunch of crap promostion wanting every one to send a copy of there new commercial to all your friends. Then of course there are links to view there new product line. And to top it all off if you click on a few links, (pain in arss), they tell you to work out!

Dove is nothing more than a multi million dollar company witch is owned by Unilever. Also the producers of Axe body spray that portrays men as nothing more than sex objects and last time I checked there was no ugly people in there adds.

All this information can be found at unilever.com See for your self, never trust big business.

  • Dove

I for one liked it. Too many young girls think you have to be stick thin to be pretty and that is not healthy physically or mentally. Way to go Dove , lets see more.

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah

Ads are made to promote a product and make money, yes. But the difference with this one being it did not use sex to sell beer, babies to sell cars, etc., etc.
Yes, it's selling a 'beauty product', but I don't need to buy Dove to understand the message. It's point was made, and made well. You are what you are, So be all that you can. Beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colours. It is in the eye of the beholder, yet should also be instilled in the eye of the holder.

  • Receive This In The Spirit Given.

Or, look upon this as "if the shoe fits, wear it." Optimism. What is Good and Possible. The "impossible" is included...

Perhaps, look at stuff like this and (re)evaluate yourself. "Where do I stand?" or "Is this what is important to me?" Heavy? Yeah. Good. Stephen.

  • Oh please

oh please. I mean its nice and all but for all the other commercials they have it is just another way to make people think " hey if i buy this it will go to a good cause!" and the dove people just get richer.

  • Beyond doubt

this is advertising, grow up a little bit guys, we're in the new millennium and only sales figures matter at the end of the day.

  • Jackass...

There are plastic surgeons the world over. Many countries have a much greater number of cosmetic surgeries. Your ignorance is showing, along with the "not surprised to see it" hatred of America. And these commercials are also een outside of America, too. YOU just posted this one on the I-N-T-E-R-N-E-T, ya genius!

  • Nice to finally

see a commercial that doesn't push into a girls head that she has to wear makeup, have a certain kind of hair or body. Too many women's lives are ruined that way. Unfortunately, men are being targeted in that way too these days.
