Forced to run away from the jungle by the Hunter, Babar makes his way to the City only to find it just as dangerous and confusing. Motherless and alone, Babar is befriended by the Old Lady, Madame, who teaches him how to fit into her world. Fighting his insecurity, Babar tries to impress Madame’s friends at a society dinner by pretending to be someone he is not. Once he realizes it is better to just be himself, he becomes the hit of the party.
