Dude...do you even know what engines both car has...probibly not. The vette beat him all the way down untill the very end, it looked like all he did was miss a gear. He got spanked?? By not even half a car length and a simple driving mistake. I hate you civic guys, I don't care how much money you throw into one of those, its still an eco car. Not even the s2000 deserves to race a vette. You put the amount of money into that vette as you did the civic and see how fast you can do 11 sec. 1/4 miles.

I'd say that is an exageration. If this is a REAL race, and not staged, then I'd say what stock factory car will a Civic on NOS not beat? Their secret is always NOS,

As for the comment about the S2000, that's your opinion, but I've seen S2000s smoke Porsches in track races. I do believe a Porsche is in the same class as a Vette.

Neither of those two cars knows how to get off the line. and the civic didn't burn out more because it was a lighter car. the civic burned out as long as it did because the driver wanted to do that. the only thing the weight had to do with it was the civic 'dragging' when it burned out. notice he pulled the ebrake when he did it. The civic won, but it didn't spank the vette. if they woulda kept going then yeah eventually you could say the civic spanked the vette in like a mile long race.

for one this little civic sits in my drive way right now and if u dont know hondas than u dont know about getting a lot of horses out of a small engine if i can get more horses out a 4 banger than u can a v8 than u dont realy know what ur doing i admit weight has a lot to do with it but my civic is only a 10 sec car not 11 and that is in da quarter and just to let u know this civic is all motor its a B18c1 wich is a gsr motor it only cost 2000 so realy if u gave me the same money he spent on buying that vette than my civic would b a lot faster trust me it was a 6000 civic verses a 36000 vette so what do u think just give me 30000 and ill show u what my car can realy do

the civ burned out longer because it is probably about half the weight of the vette.

the civ needed who-knows-what to beat a stock vette? and barely at that. like Klipsch said, put that money into that vette and race'em again. gaurantee you that vette driver would have time to gas up, have a smoke AND wax his car by the time the civ made it to the finish line. and a win may be a win but that civ had a hard time beating the vette no matter how you slice it.

I tune civics and i can tell you even though they're small their engines are like sneaky buggers. they'll get ur attention. plus they got better power:weight ratio
