    ok so do any of you even WATCH soccer? becks was about the only england player to show up in WC 06. he had a goal, another one that bounced off a defender, and a couple assists. no other Brit did anything close to that. and he passes, takes corners, free kicks, AND PENALTYS better than most. in portugal when he missed...he slipped. watch him how his whole body moves. he said himself he slipped and the turf at the spot was loose before...something that is very bad for a guy who has technique like him and kicks very hard. Beckham rocks!

    Yeah, I know what you are all thinking...if he can really hit his target from that range, why couldn't he find the goal in euro 2004? But there's the stress of the location and everything right? hahaha it's kind of like pin the tail on the donkey and but putting the tail about 500 m away :P

    He is a good player...well he better be with all that money he's being paid...but he's not as good as a lot of other soccer players who are being paid less...it's only his publicity that he's making more. Not really worth the buck.
