it wasa small deer, common in the midwest and east end of us ,also common in most of the UK, s. Am and others. I have encountered deer on the road and they are un prdictable! stop knockin what you no nothin about ladies!

riding like that in lush vegetation..
..it beckons extra caution doesn't it? Besides that, there need to be signs erected which warn drivers/riders of animal crossings. life is risky although precautions can be taken.

Blind corners and high speeds never mix. Fortunately it was not a person that got hit, I hope the animal died quickly so it didn't suffer.
