Producers' Commentary - Our Writer/Director, Ken Tipton, is from St. Charles, Mo. where this story is based. During the years in which this story takes place, Ken used to fly his powered hang glider, also called an ultralight aircraft, along the same beautiful route seen in the helicopter shots in the opening credits.Beginning from Arrowhead Airport in Creve Coeur, Mo., up the Missouri River past St. Charles until the river flowed into the Mississippi River at Alton, IL.
