an RC model of the F-22,,, very cool. Obviously not a novice, however the goof of cooking his shop wall was pretty funny.

Common mistake since they almost have the same shape, but his is a replica of the f-35 joint strike figher, it is a single engine fighter with VTOL capability, while the F22 is a twin engine fighter.

also if u look closely u can see the hump towards the cockpit were the fan that helps with the VTOL taking about half of the weight off from the main engine and stabalizing it its a badass bird

I will say this, I have flown everything, but never a jet propelled RC. It is hard enough to fly one, let alone do tricks and stuff. But to do what he just did, he is well above my league.

I'm always fascinated by anything that flys and is powered by some sort of motor (in this case a miniature jet turbine engine). Anyhow, this video got me thinking after I saw that quick take-off. I would imagine Mr. Lambert had to do some pretty crunching calculations to get the aerodynamic of the model to work in the sky and other what-nots. What I wanna' know is.. even if its as true as it can get (size/ratio-wise) to the real thing, what happens if you also add some weight into the F-35 RC to mimic the actual weight? Will it still fly?
