but never release the throttle while in the water !

    By frogeater 1140242346
    • ?

why wouldnt you realease the throttle? Im amazed that they sealed every nook and cranny inside a car to make it float. what is stoppin the water from going into the exaust? the airflow alone isnt enough to hold it back, is it?

      By VidModMan815 1140415935
    • probably

If you figure that most motors are around 8.5 to 1 compresion and if the motor is kept reving as someone above sugested. Also if the back end is in the air like that not a lot of water up there. ever seen unloading of boats at docks? I have seen them back in a long ways. Just my thoughts no scientific or actual proof of any of this.

yes you can take your exaust under water it will be ok as long as your engine dont back fire or stall or you dont shut it off or try starting it under water.

Holy S**t it can float without water going in it

  • Wow

The fact that they made the vehicle float is more impressive than how well the snorkle works. That was really cool to see.

  • going under water

The alternator should be ok thay make ones you can take under water. As for the computer and ather Electrical parts you will have to move them. some People move them to the Cealing of the truck or suv. thay make a silicone spray to seal up all the Electrical connecters. You will allso have to do a lot venting such you gastank distributer cap frunt and rear differential. It take alot of work befor you can do that

  • Electrical?

How do they keep the electrical from taking water such as the alternator or computer. I guess they just plan on keeping it running until it dries out.
