    put the shortcut on your desktop where you can do it in 2 seconds also by a small thing called double click!

    and really your desktop holds many more programs / applications / whatever than the amount of shortcuts you can remember.

    also you could simply drag the programs or whatever you use often in the taskbar or in the start menu...even easier.

      too many shortcuts on a desktop make it messy and harder to find the things you need. Shortcut keys are much quicker.

      to even make a shortcut key for those you have to make a shortcut icon...sooo once again we come back to the conclusion that double clicking is still easier....unless you have a folder just full of shortcuts which is just silly....and dont get me started on DOS HAHA
